Host a Workshop

My goal as an instructor is to teach you to “see” and to understand the relationship between values, color and color temperature. Once you understand these concepts, you can build on your skills and become the individual painter that you are, not what someone else is doing. I will teach you how to get a glow to your paintings using these concepts.

Create the workshop you want! And, receive a free workshop by becoming a host.

Stay close to home, enjoy the comfort of familiar surroundings and friends,
eliminate the expense of travel…bring Becky Joy’s Painting Workshop to you! Imagine the possibilities!

Artists of all abilities are welcome to create and attend Becky’s Workshops.

The workshops will be held at locations to be identified by the hosting artist and Becky Joy.
As always, instruction is individual and the wonderful atmosphere of artistic fellowship
and camaraderie continues in your own backyard.

Hi, Becky,

I am loving your material online and enjoying watching the videos. I am intrigued about the possibility of hosting a workshop. Could you give me the particulars and I will take the idea to our local art league.

Best Regards,
Laura.

Laura, I just got back in town from the plein air convention and painting at the Grand Canyon. Catching up on emails, etc now.
I would love to host a workshop for your group. I charge $225. for a 3 day workshop. I teach both plein air and in the studio, so that is up to the group. One thing I always teach in the workshops in how to paint a sunset. That’s one thing that everyone is interested in.
I need a minimum of 7 paying students and a place to stay.
If you set up the workshop and organize it, you will receive the workshop for free. You can go to my website, http://beckyjoy.com to view more of my work. Let me know if you have anymore questions or need more info.
